Cross-country skiing
Fassa Valley is a paradies for cross-country skiers as well: in this valley you can find a 60 km long ring with cross-country ski slopes in an amazing landscape. There are three main rings: Toblach-Innichen, Toblach Colle di Fuori and Toblach-Braies Valley, connected betweeneach other. The difficoulty of the crouss-country ski slopes is fromeasy to medium demanding and the slopes wind mostly along the area of the Nature Park Tre Cime, among amazing forests and snow-capped meadows. From Toblach you can also find paths along which you can hike with snowshoes. Thanks to these paths you can discover the wild nature of the park surrounded by a cozy silence.
Close to the Lake Toblach there is one of the biggest cross-country skiing stadium, with a ring whose linght is 3 km and which is well-light for night skiing. Every year, national and international competitions take place here. For pwople who just want to enjoy the unpolluted nature, the Lake Braies is surrounded by a ring which is 25 km long and located among larch forests and wounderful views of the surrounding peaks, you can not miss it.
