Starting from this winter, at the Berg Hotel Latemar Spitze the project Emotions on the snow awaits you: a hike, about 2 hours, starting from the hotel.
Plannes once a week, thank to this hike you can discover the magnificences of this prehistoric place of worship, "Ciaslir de Vich". According to the archaeological researches, it should have been a prehistoric settlement of the Rhaerian period: today, the shrine of Santa Giuliana is located here.
Santa Giuliana, patron saint of Fassa Valley, is the richest church of the valley from a historic point of view. It was built during the th century and consecrated by the Cardinal Niccolò Cusano in 1452. Located in the white landscape covered with sknow and surrounded by the forest, visitors always feel moved when thwey visit this place: that is the reason why we decided to offer this hike. A rich restorative snack is aeaiting you back at the hotel!
