Traditional, good and homemade our kitchen

We offer our guests tradicional recipies, based on a poor but tasty kitchen, proudly handed down from one generation to another. Our aim is to preserve the culinary culture of our Valley, offering typical local products and dishes prepared with love and passion. Taste the freshness of the pasta prepared by our cooks, of the vegetables and the aromatic herbs we cultivate in our vegetable garden.

We want to offer our guests dishes which bring out the best of our Valley, combining taste and sustainability: we believe in a responsible consumption, respecting nature, animals and the human being.

On wednesdays we will not offer the restaurant service, the price will be just with bed and breakfast.

    Our chef cultivates personally the vegetables, which our guests will find daily in our menu, in the garden.

    We offer our guests a rich and tasty breakfast, with fresh and healty ingredients, most of which are local. You can start your day with homemade cakes, for example fruit tarts, strudel and chocolate and yoghurt cake; furthermore, you can find ham, salami, and typical local cheeses, with honey and homemade jams.

    For us, the best food is produced respecting the nature and the human being: for this reason, every Friday we offer a vegen breakfast, without salami and cold cuts, so that our guests become aware of a consciuous and responsible consumption of meat.

    Before starting your hiking or skiing day, enjoy a relaxing break in the sunny breakfast room and the view of the Dolomites. The members of our team is always ready to fulfill your requests and needs.     The bell rings and dinner starts: you will daily find a new menu with the delicious dishes and the tastes you dream of when you think about Fassa Valley and the typical kitchen of the mountains.

    Every day we offer typical Ladin dishes, from example canederli (stuffed breadballs), strangolapreti (gnocchi with spinaches and ricotta fresh cheese) and the traditional potatos roulade, as well as ravioli (stuffed pasta) with fresh alpine cheese, local meat and vegetables.

    We change our menu every day: every Thursday you can have dinner by candle-light, and every Monday we welcome you with an aperitif to start the week and the stay at Hotel Latemar in the best way possible.

    At the Hotel Latemar we pay attention to the needs of vegan guests, of guests who suffer from celiac desease or who are intolerant. For this reason, every evening we offer dishes without gluten, milk derivates and eggs, still maintaining the typical and local tastes and recipes.

    The waiters and the chefs are always up-to-date and able to fulfil the needs and answer questions concerning ingredients, preparation and shortcomings for guests having allergies or intolerances. At the Hotel Latemar every guest can spend a healthy and gratifying holiday, without renouncing eating good food.
